I'm calling this a reenactor special. Original front seam, fixed loop helmet, heat stamp is not visible, nice original paint, both web chinstraps present, but there is surface rust on helmet and metal chinstrap fittings. The liner is a Firestone 22 with original paint, no cracks, 1945 dated nape strap and sweatband are present. One piece of the webbing on the front has torn, and there are rust stains and surface rust on metal fittings. Overall would make a nice display piece.
