Incredible uniform set with photocopies of selected records for a three war veteran, Chief Master Sergeant Kenneth L. Strom. He joined the US Army in 1943 as an infantryman, and fought in the Huertgen Forest and Battle of the Bulge with A Co. 1st BN 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. He later joined the Air Force in 1951 and served until 1974. Uniform is in good, used condition, with sewn ribbons, sterling silver Combat Infantryman Badge with matching early war flat sterling clutches, and Sharpshooter badge. There is on small hole in the lapel and part of the satin lining inside has loose stitching. The pants came with the coat, and have one marked out laundry number, and another laundry stamp "W-7480". Beautiful uniform set with a rich military history!
