One of the most affordable collectible items from the Third Reich, is the "Tinnie". The Tagungsabzeichen or "Day Badges" are small propaganda tokens that were sold at party rallies, sports events, festivals, holidays and other special events to show support or help raise money for charities such as the Winterhilfswerk (WHW). The nickname Tinnie is misleading, as they were constructed from a variety of materials such as zinc, tin, plastic, aluminum, wood, glass, paper and cardboard. Because they were produced in such high numbers with cheap materials, they can still be found today at affordable prices.
