Original, unissued, Willard Type BB-54A battery, NO liquid, dated 1962 in original cardboard box. The box is still sealed, the photo of the battery is from an opened box from the same lot. Developed in 1943, it was a low-voltage, portable power source primarily used to supply filament power for vacuum tubes in portable radio equipment used from WWII to Vietnam.
