Vet bring-back, 2004, near Baghdad. East German style M56/75 helmet used by Iraqi Army. Helmet is in overall very good, used shape; leather is in excellent condition, but the foam inside the liner is very dry and deteriorating. There is traces of a unit marking on the front of the helmet.
 
The Iraqi M90 is the successor of the Iraqi M80 helmet, and most commonly used during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
