Original World War I era first aid kit with components used for sutures; OD cotton canvas case with enamel red cross button on front. Comes with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Perfect Absorbent cotton dated 1917, box end slightly damaged, J&J Iodine applicator that appears to be intact (I couldn't pull the glass vial out of the box and cotton- I was worried I might break it), J&J Perfect Silk Court Plaster, thread, safety pins and needles. This was not an Army issue item, however, the Red Cross donated medical supplies and kits during the war to the government. NOT FOR USE- sold as a collectible only!
