An original M42 helmet by Quist, shell size 64.  The exterior has been repainted postwar in feldgrau and comes with a reproduction leather liner and chinstrap. The paint job is not that great, but the shell itself is in excellent condition with no dents. The liner is about a US size 7.
 
The Quist factory is known for M35 and M40 helmets, especially for the Luftwaffe and only produced only a limited amount of M42 helmets during the war.
