TWO original WWII German envelopes (covers) for an Army Postal Service (Feldpost) letter from the same soldier. No letter inside, nice ink stamps, beautiful handwritten addresses with soldier's name on the back. Feldpost number attributed to 5. Kompanie Marine-Flak-Abteilung 239.

 

Marine-Flak-Abteilung 239: Formed 4.41 in Lager Brokzetel, 5.41 in Gotenhafen, 7.41 to Windau and10.41 in Reval with 10 companies. In 1942 one battery (6) was transferred to 710 and three (1, 2 and 8) to 219, and now had 6 batteries (3-5, 7,9 and 10). 4.42 in Ostluga, 5.43 to the island Tyttärsari. Evacuated the island 9.44 and moved to Oesel (saw combat at Sworbe), now with 8 batteries.Disbanded 11.44.
