"Deutsches Jugendfest / Reichsportwettkampf" pin dated 1936 and stamped Hillenbrand und Bro. Ludenscheid on the reverse. Die struck aluminum-alloy base, silver washed and black burnished. Measures approximately 1 1/16 inches tall by 5/8 of an inch wide.
 
This award could be worn on the uniform year round, unlike other decorations that were of limited wear.
