Hard to find, original USMC Woman's summer seersucker uniform named to M.M. McLaughlin with Technical Sergeant rank insignia. Overall condition is very good with the following issues: missing one front green composite button, no tags present, some very faint stains and small pin holes on both the blouse and skirt. Side zipper has rust and functions but is very fragile. I will let the buyer decide to lubricate or leave as is unzipped which is not noticeable when displayed on a mannequin. Blouse measures approximately 18 inches chest from armpit to armpit, 8 1/2" short sleeve, and 23" blouse length. Skirt has a 13 inch waist measured flat, 28 inches long. Overall a very good used condition set that displays nicely.

Information I recevied with the set: Margaret M. McLaughlin appears in Marine Corps Muster rolls beginning in a roll from April 1944 at the rank of Private and stationed at HQ Eastern Procurement Division 1700 Sansom St. Philadelphia, PA. She reappears throughout muster rolls annually, climbing to the rank of Technical Sergeant (E-6) by 1952. She last appears in muster rolls in 1958 as a Technical Sergeant (E-6) in the Voluntary Marine Corps Reserve in Philadelphia,
