Nice, original M1923 cartridge belt, all buttons and snaps are intact, canvas is in great shape, as is metal hardware. At some point it was dyed or painted. This was done by various units such as airborne troops, but also by modern day reenactors. I cannot say for sure if the dye/ paint is authentic so I'll let you be the judge.
