Korean War veteran lot of Norman Linck, consisting of a 1st Cavalry Division patch and theater made (Japan) 7th Cavalry Regiment DUI (pinback, unmarked). Consignor states Norman would tell him graphic stories of the war and he remembered landing on a shore with Navy guns firing over his head- certainly a reference to the 1st Cavalry landing at Pohang Dong, South Korea. Cursory research also shows that Norman was wounded on November 1950 during the battle of Unsan and discharged in 1951 due to his wounds. Overall a very nice grouping.
