Original bronze ramrod holder or "tailpipe" for a Brown Bess flintlock musket, in overall good condition measuring approximately 4-7/8 inches long. Nice patina, small dents, scratches throughout.
The ramrod tailpipe was attached to the underside of a flintlock musket barrel to hold the ramrod.
