Nice May Day 1937 tinnie of die struck zinc with some corrosion, measuring approximately 1 3/8". Maker marked "W. Hörnlein, Gmünd".

 

The Abzeichen 1. Mai 1937 was first ntroduced in 1933 by the NSDAP declaring May 1st the “Day of National Work” an official state holiday to celebrate laborers and the working classes.
